I mean, I did some of the things but I don't feel like I really accomplished anything because I didn't have set goals. I think my biggest accomplishment of 2015 was to have my hysterectomy and no longer be in pain constantly.
This time around, I'm doing it differently. I'm setting goals that have actual thought put into them.
1) Go through social media once a quarter and delete unhappiness.
People that I have nothing in common with, people that added me just to grow their market, groups I don't participate in, pages that I never read, etc... Once every 3 months I'll take a day and go through and clean this stuff out.
2) Read and Review 50 books.
I'll probably read more than that, but I want to review 50 of them on here for you guys!
3) Go out on my own once a month.
Coffee by myself for an hour, walking around Target with a Starbucks in hand, or seeing a movie. I will get out without any family once each month. I'll include friends from time to time but sometimes you just need to date yourself.
4) Buy 1-2 Capsule Wardrobe pieces each month.
2 if I can get them on a thrift trip. 1 if I'm paying full price or not severely discounted.
A Capsule Wardrobe is a set of pieces (they recommend 37 but I need to move slowly) that can be rotated into various outfits. You're supposed to come up with a capsule for each season. (So...3 here in Arizona. Cold, hot, and "surface of the sun")
5) Exercise 20 minutes 3 days a week.
I'm not setting a pound goal or size goal. I'm focusing on just working out 3 days a week. This can be a walk, yoga, aerobics, etc. As long as I'm active for 20 solid minutes.
6) Do something NEW each quarter.
This can coincide with #3 or be a family outing. I vow to try a new restaurant, check out a museum, take a class, etc once every 3 months in 2016.
